Welcome to M-Aesthetics (located within Melvin Medical Centre, Milton, ON). By accessing our website, booking a consultation, or receiving services at our clinic, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service and policies. Please read them carefully.
1. Medical Disclaimer (Informational Purposes Only)
Not Medical Advice: The content provided on www.m-aesthetics.ca—including text, graphics, treatment descriptions, and images—is for general educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute formal medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
In-Person Consultation Required: Aesthetic and cosmetic procedures carry individual risks and vary in results. Individual outcomes depend on factors such as skin type, medical history, and compliance with post-treatment care. An in-person consultation and medical screening are required prior to receiving any clinical treatment.
Medical Emergencies: If you are experiencing a medical emergency or severe adverse reaction, call 911 immediately or visit the nearest emergency room.
2. Appointment & Clinic Policies
To provide high-quality care and maintain timely scheduling for all clients, M-Aesthetics operates under the following strict guidelines:
By Appointment Only: All treatments and consultations are conducted by confirmed appointment only. Walk-in inquiries can be made at reception, but service delivery requires a scheduled booking.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy: We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellation or rescheduling.
No-Show & Late Cancellation Fee: If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment (“no-show”) or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, a $50 fee will be applied. This fee must be settled before booking any future treatments.
Late Arrivals: If you arrive late for your appointment, your treatment time may be shortened to accommodate scheduled clients following you, while full treatment fees will still apply.
3. Refund & Return Policy
Promotional & Sale Items: All promotional offers, discounted packages, gift certificates, and special sale items are final sale. No refunds, returns, exchanges, or store credits will be provided for promotional or discounted purchases once payment is rendered.
General Services: Payments made for completed treatments or individual aesthetic services are non-refundable.
4. Client Health & Informed Consent
Health Disclosure: Clients are required to disclose accurate and complete medical histories, current medications, allergies, skin conditions, and pregnancy status prior to treatment. M-Aesthetics is not liable for adverse reactions resulting from undisclosed medical conditions.
Informed Consent: Prior to receiving any cosmetic or medical-aesthetic procedure, you will be required to review and sign an official Informed Consent Form detailing the specific risks, benefits, and post-care instructions for that procedure.
5. Zero Tolerance for Abusive Behavior
M-Aesthetics is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional environment for both our clients and staff.
Behavior Policy: Verbal abuse, harassment, intimidation, discriminatory language, or aggressive behavior toward our staff, practitioners, or shared clinic receptionists will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Right to Refuse Service: M-Aesthetics reserves the explicit right to refuse service, terminate appointments immediately, and ban individuals from future bookings who violate this policy.
6. Website Usage & Intellectual Property
All content, logos, branding, images, and text on www.m-aesthetics.ca our official social media channels are the intellectual property of M-Aesthetics and are protected under Canadian copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without prior written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Ontario and Canadian law, M-Aesthetics, its practitioners, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or reliance on information provided herein.
8. Changes to Terms
M-Aesthetics reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Updates will be posted directly to this page with an updated “Last Modified” date.
